A Tribute to the Memory of Crystal “Jean” Duarte

Hello, Loved Ones (or better yet, “What’s Up, Fam?” As Crystal would have said). This fundraiser has been setup on behalf of the Duarte family to assist, where we can, during this difficult time. On Thursday, November 25th, 2021, Thanksgiving Day, Daniel’s beautiful wife Crystal Jean Duarte suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm. 

Our beloved Crystal “Jean” was called home to be with our good Lord on November 30th, 2021 at 9:45 PM, after a hard-fought and unrelenting battle. For those that knew her, this was no surprise. She was very strong willed and did things in Jean’s way and on Jean’s time. 

Her laugh was contagious, and her energy was unmistakable. When she walked in to a room, everyone knew it and felt it. Her pure heart, and kind spirit will continue to live and shine in the hearts of her step-daughters, God-children, nieces, and nephews who she truly loved as her own. 

The outpouring of love, support, and generosity has been nothing short of extraordinary. It is also a testament to the number of lives Crystal Jean touched. She had a unique charm about her and an infectious joy that instantly changed the energy of a room. She had a way of making everyone feel seen, heard, and deeply loved, and now our hope is that through our thoughts and prayers she feels that kind of deep, unwavering love as she journeys home.
