Brother & Friends of the Beta Upsilon Chapter of Alpha Tau Omega:
The Beta Upsilon Chapter of Alpha Tau Omega has a rich and long standing history at The University of Maine. Over the course of its history, our chapter has supported hundreds of brothers from all walks of life spanning multiple generations. Our house on 81 College Ave. represents the bedrock of our chapter, and it's upkeep remains a primary concern of our Beta Upsilon Alumni Association.
Thanks to the generous support of multiple alumni & friends, last year our Alumni Association, in partnership with The Maine Beta Upsilon Building Association (MBUBA) raised over $10,000 to complete a full renovation of the house's front deck.
While the deck renovation was sorely needed, there remains an ever-expanding list of renovation projects for the house. With that in mind, we are setting out to raise another $10,000 to help fund a conversion of the house’s hot water heater to natural gas, place rain gutters around the house, upgrade the foundation’s drainage system, and repair the driveway using reclaimed gravel.
We write to you now asking for your financial help to help us reach our fundraising goal. All donations to this page are directly deposited into the bank account of The Maine Beta Upsilon Building Association (MBUBA).
If you have any questions regarding our Alumni Association’s fundraising efforts or any questions relating to alumni involvement with our chapter, feel free to reach out to Elek Pew ‘15 (President of the ATO Beta Upsilon Alumni Association, [email redacted]) or to Dewey Bunker ‘88 (President of the MBUBA, [email redacted].com).
