Atlas' Emergency Surgery Fund

Hello,

My name is Kelcie, and I'm reaching out to rally support for my dear friend, Brittani, and her beloved cat, Atlas.

Atlas (all grey), and his brother Floyd (grey and white), share an inseparable bond, as you can see in this photo. Atlas is loved deeply by his brother and everyone he comes across. He's genuinely one of the most affectionate and kind-hearted kitties I've ever had the pleasure of knowing, and he needs our help.

Sadly, this morning, Atlas began displaying signs of distress and discomfort, crying and struggling to urinate. Brittani got him in to see his veterinarian who found he had a urinary blockage. They referred him to the nearest emergency hospital for surgery. Atlas will need to be put under anesthesia to remove the blockage and then hospitalized for a portion of his recovery. Brittani is devastated and so scared for Atlas, but of course, she is doing everything she can to get him the life-saving treatment he needs.

The estimate for Atlas's surgery and hospitalization is $4,000. I understand that financially, times are challenging for many, but I've seen firsthand the incredible generosity of our community. Any and every contribution, no matter how small—even $1—will make a meaningful difference in Atlas's life.
