Atlantis Shadowing Abroad Lizzie Klein’s Journey
Donation protected
Hi everyone!
My name is Lizzie Klein, and I’m a sophomore at Florida Atlantic University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences on the pre-med track. My dream is to become a pediatric cardiothoracic surgeon, and every step I take is driven by my passion for medicine and my desire to grow into the best physician I can be.
This summer, I have been accepted into the Atlantis Pre-Med Shadowing Program in Thessaloniki, Greece! This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity will allow me to shadow doctors for 20+ hours per week, rotating through multiple specialties, including cardiology, hematology/oncology, and internal medicine. Medical shadowing is extremely competitive in the U.S., and this program will not only provide me with the clinical exposure I need but also allow me to experience healthcare from a global perspective.
However, this incredible opportunity comes with costs. The total program fee is $5,499, and my goal is to raise $6,200 to cover flights, food, and additional expenses. If you’re able to contribute, no donation is too small—every bit helps me take one step closer to my dream!
I will be forever grateful for any support, whether it’s a donation, sharing my story, or simply cheering me on! Thank you so much for believing in me and being a part of my path to medicine!
Kind regards,
Lizzie Klein
