Help Brooklyn Beat Biliary Atresia

Brooklyn Marie Powell blessed her parents , Jerica and Tommy, lives on October 15, 2015. She is just like any other three month old. She smiles, coos, laughs and fills her parents with so much pride and joy. But behind it all, Brooklyn is fighting a war no child should have to endure. She was diagnosed with Biliary Atresia, which is a disease of the liver and bile ducts. At 5 weeks old a surgery called Kaisi was performed, but unfortunately it wasn't as successful as her parents and others had prayed it would be. The next step for Brooklyn is waiting for a new liver. She will need to have a transplant soon. While Brooklyn waits, she will need expensive medications and many doctors visits. Her parents will be taking time off work as they help their daughter fight this battle. If the emotional toll isn't enough, they also have a financial burden to face as well.
