AtkinsRealis Football Fundraiser for Friends of Freemantles

AtkinsRéalis are raising money in aid of The Friends Of Freemantles Heart Project and every donation will help.
In 2007, AtkinsRéalis were a part of a project to design a new specialist school which became known as "Freemantles School".
Freemantles is a school based in surrey which specialises in supporting children and young adults with complex social and communication needs and Autism. Although the school has wonderful specialist, purpose-built facilities and an enormously dedicated teaching staff, it lacks the State funds to meet the cost of many of the things that enhance the children’s education and extend their opportunities.
Friends of Freemantles is a parent and staff run charity that fundraises for the school. Over the past 2 years their funds have gone towards a replacement minibus, new primary department playground equipment, gazebos for sports day and FoF events, a sports equipment shed, a chicken coop for the animal care area, and a wooden pavilion for outdoor teaching and break times.
The charity is now undertaking a new project for the children called "The Heart", and are currently working very hard trying to raise vital funds to build an enhanced horticultural and animal area for the children. This will give the children great opportunities for sensory regulation, occupational therapies, developing social enterprise and life skills, caring for animals and animal therapy and promoting well-being and mental health which is at the heart of everything they do at Freemantles.
AtkinsRéalis will be holding a charity football match on Thursday 13/06/2024 to help raise funds for this well deserving project.
