Tuesday, January 18th my father Peter passed away extremely suddenly and traumatically. He had a fatal heart attack at home which led to him losing a pulse several times, seizing, and becoming unresponsive before EMS could even get him out of his house. My mother and I were there and saw and experienced everything he went through. He did not make it to the hospital before they pronounced him dead.
My father Peter was a fun-loving, sarcastic but caring individual that not only raised 3 children; one with autism unable to live alone, with unending love and support; he also loved his grandchildren Logan and Wyatt unconditionally. Wyatt is also autistic and nonverbal, and has received immense support from Peter and my mother Paulie his entire life.
Peter was a craft beer, model train, Minnesota Vikings, and classic car fanatic. He worked at Goodyear for over 32 years, and after retiring in 2020, he spent his short retirement visiting breweries and having family game nights, spending as much time with his family as he could.
Despite his long tenure at Goodyear, he did not have life insurance- or at least did not keep record of it where we can access the funds to cover his funeral costs, unpaid car loan, and other bills he is leaving behind. My mother cares for my autistic brother full time and therefore cannot work. We are asking for some help in covering the immediate costs left in the wake of this tragedy, until my mother is able to receive survivor benefits and hopefully discover if he had any sort of life insurance. Please consider donating to help us through this extremely difficult time.
