Help Save Lucky!

Hi, Our names are Jorge and Yolanda and we are raising money to save Lucky, a lovely steer that lives in Lyons, CO. Our goal is to save Lucky from getting slaughtered this fall, and ensure that he lives a long, happy life in caring hands.

 

Since his owner has agreed to sell Lucky for $5,500 , we are planning to purchase him and entrust his care to Luvin' Arms Animal Sanctuary located in Erie, CO.

 

Lucky's Story

Lucky, the lovable steer, arrived in Lyons this June and has captivated the attention of many who walk along Old South Saint Vrain Road because of his affection to humans. It turns out that he's about a year and a half, and was bottle fed by kids after losing his mother to wolves on an Arizona Ranch. Over these last few months we have witnessed how Lucky has gained the hearts of many, especially kids and elders, that visit and pet him everyday on their daily walks.
