Hi, my name is Daniel Bettencourt. I am a Senior at Paradise High School. I am excited to be fund raising for Paradise Jr. Football to scholarship athletes next season in the Fall of 2020. I had the privilege of being apart of the first group of players that started at the Mighty Mite level. I began to play at the age of 6. I have spent the last 12 years playing the sport that I love. Football has helped me with my focus, work ethics, leadership and physical strength. I have been mentored by many coaches and have learned countless lessons on the field. Football had a positive impact on my life. I want to offer this opportunity to play football for young athletes in our community that may not be able to afford the fees. As you have heard, Paradise, California went through a devastating Wildfire in November of 2018. It has left many families in a difficult financial situation. I will use the funds to assist with the cost of participating in the Paradise Jr. Football Sport’s Program for 10 players and the remaining funds can be used to update equipment that was lost in the fire. Please help me offer as many scholarships to these athletes in need. Thank you!
