Athina is so excited to have qualified for her first World Championships in Buenas Aires, Argentina! She's dreamed of the World Team for many years but, unfortunately, it has been just out of reach for one reason or another. This season, after a few challenging years, she began working with Candice Clifford and they came up with a game plan, not to make the World Team, but to fall in love with skating again.

Together they worked to create programs that Athina could connect with and try new content that would challenge but optimize her scores. This was done over weekly FaceTime lessons and the occasional outdoor lessons on cement and sport court rinks. Although their circumstances were challenging, their plan worked and Athina had the passionate season of a lifetime! But it's not over yet.

The World Championships will be the end of October and she needs your help to get there! This event is not funded and athletes have many costs to cover. Any and everything helps! She and her family thank you for your contribution!
