Athena’s Fundraiser for MMUN

In March 2017 I will be one of the Montessori students learning/sharing Peace, Education, and Global Citizenship at the United Nations.

This is my first time at the UN and I am looking forward to this unforgettable experience.  I want to thank you all in advance for any contributions you may be able to make, it really means so much to me and this helps me with all my cost associated with this exerience.  If I am able to surpass my GoFundMe Goal then I will be donating the remainers to my class to help other students with their cost for this trip as well.

I will be gaining experiences and practices that will help in my development of skills in the following areas:

- Understanding the history of the united nations.

- Understanding the work of the UN and it’s committees

- Becoming a successful delegate

- Writing position papers & preparing speeches

-  Learning how to negotiate and caucus

- Developing the code of conduct as Ambassadors

- Writing drafts and resolutions

- And so much more
