Hi friends. It's Athena. I am a trans, nonbinary person living in rural Minnesota working in Disability Support Services.

I'm in a "when it rains it pours" predicament with my finances right now. My car has broken down and the repair will cost around $800 to fix. Other than Uber, this is my only means of transportation.

My clients at work have Covid, and I'm not willing to risk exposure for myself or the other individuals I work with. Because I am not willing to expose myself to Covid and because I used all of my sick time for my recent Top Surgery (thanks again for all your help :D ), I will not get paid for the time I choose not to expose myself to Covid and will therefore lose at least a week of wages.

To make matters more complicated, I am currently in the midst of moving and have had to spend any savings that I had to put down a deposit and first month's rent on a new apartment.

I am trying to my best to find steady and benefitted work, having applied to over 700 jobs in the past 12 months. I am also trying to fill in hours where I can by babysitting and working at other part-time opportunities, although not having a working vehicle makes this super challenging. Unfortunately, I am still in need of help in the form of monetary support. Anything you have to give is appreciated immensely. Thank you!
