Athena’s Double ACL surgery

Hi, my name is Nicole. Athena (our dog) on the 4th of July was outside playing with her cousins having fun like any dog would be when she stopped what she was doing and could no longer put any weight on her right rear leg. After getting her to the vet found out that not only is her right rear ACL severely torn so is her left. Athena is the most amazing girl. If she didn’t walk around on only 3 legs you’d never know she was hurt. I always say who rescued who? Being a rescue she is so afraid of pretty much everything unless you’re a guest in our home with a treat. Then she’s your best friend for life. The surgery estimate for both legs is $8200-$8600. I’ve scheduled the surgery for next Thursday 8/17 at blue Pearl veterinary Hospital. I’m retired military on a limited income. I will and have done everything for my girl. She sees a dermatologist for her severe allergies and I give her allergy shots every two weeks. She had a lipoma that had to be removed a little over a year ago. With all she has going on this being added has really strapped me. I’m not asking for more than I need just some help. Thank you for reading and hopefully helping.
