My name is Tiffany and I work at an animal hospital and also help with rescue cases.

Athena pulled on my heart strings when her owner called to schedule a euthanasia for her cleft lip. I couldn’t let them do it!! She has so much will and Fight to survive and be the bad ass she was born to be!! I knew immediately that I would try anything in my power to help her despite my funds. For those who don’t know what a cleft palate is, it’s when there is a deformity in the lip/nose region. It hinders them able to latch on to mom and mostly they have to be tube fed until they can get the surgery. Anything would be helpful even if you just share this story.
