A few days ago, I noticed my one cat, Athena, wasn't eating or drinking. She was also hiding and going outside if the litterbox. She sometimes gets stressed if another cat is bothering her. I decided to take her to the vet to see if we could treat her anxiousness and get her hydrated. The vet examined her finding a bigger issue. She thought it was one of two options, gladly it was the more optimistic option and not the other option. I won't go into too much detail as it is a bit of gore. She needed a small procedure to get stitches and some medical attention. She is going better. She does need meds, aftercare, and follow up appointments.

I am so grateful she is okay and doing better now. Saying all this it will cost a good amount of money for everything. I am alreay financially strained. This is the cherry on top. I am asking for help to pay for the procedure and aftercare. Any amount will help.

Athena isn't just my pet, she is my family. She just turned 11, but don't let her age fool you. She's been a grouchy old lady all of her life. She loves showing affection on her terms and will stare at you while you eat cereal because she wants the milk. She has taught me to be patient while learning to speak her language. By learning to speak her language I grew a deeper understanding of her and gained her friendship. She is a tough nut to crack, but once you crack it you see just how wonderful it is.
