Support Athena's Facial Feminzation Surgery

My partner Athena is preparing for Facial Feminization Surgery towards the end of this year, and we need your help to make achieving this massive milestone in her transition possible!

Facial Feminzation Surgery (FFS) is a collection of a few different gender affirming procedures that are life changing and often life saving. Recovery will be an exciting but difficult journey for Athena, so we're opening up the opportunity to source community support to help make this as easy as possible for her. Athena has been transitioning since 2020 after years of struggling with gender dysphoria, and has fought long and hard against her insurance company to get the gender affirming care she needs. Any amount you can donate will go a long way in improving Athena's quality of life and helping make this crucial step in her transition possible for her.

Crowdsourced funds will go directly to covering surgery and medical costs, travel from the hospital, recovery related expenses like prescriptions and medical supplies, living expenses, make up for lost wages during the time she's required to take off of work, necessary post-surgical dental work and corrections, and doctor's visit co-pays.

I am so immensely proud of Athena and the work she has done to take care of herself and get to this point. She is a true walking ray of sunshine, and spends so much of her time and energy spreading love and kindness to everyone she meets. I marvel every day in her unwavering spirit and artistic soul, and I cannot wait to see her continue to blossom into the best version of herself!
