Cancer Care and Treatment for Cindy

My name is Samantha Hidalgo. I created this page for one of my best friends, Cindy Guzman, who is valiantly battling Breast Cancer.  Cindy was diagnosed in December of 2013. I remember how devasted we all were and we immediately came to Cindy's side to help and support her.  Cindy has had an amazing attitude and strength through this extraordinarily difficult time. She is one of a kind and the first to give a helping hand to anyone who needs it.  Everyone who knows Cindy, knows what a beautiful, strong and determined woman she is and she will beat this cancer!

Cindy has the love and support of her family.  Her husband Mario and children, Ava (9) and Julian (6) have been by her side.  They inspire her to fight each day so she can be there to watch them grow.  As hard as it has been for Cindy, she has tried to continue to work at SHPAC as a dance instructor to continue to provide for her family.

So many have asked, "how can we help?" Along with asking for continued prayers, I have put together this page to help Cindy's family with the crushing medical bills and to alleviate some of the worry and stress that is a part of the financial reality of cancer.  Focusing on her health and care at Memorial Sloan Kettering is more than enough for Cindy and her family to bear.  Join with me in supporting this wonderful family and please give today so together we can say no to cancer.
