The incredibly hard-working family & team behind ATET suffered a massive blow in the early hours of Tuesday morning when the beloved venue was cruelly set alight by arsonists. This has lead to substantial damages and huge loss in revenue from inevitably needing to be closed for clean up & repair.

The unimaginable loss of income is a major hit for a new independent business with over 50 staff to pay and thousands of dollars in expenses to cover each week including lending expenses, perishable foods, venue costs and many more, so as a friend and part of this community Jake created from ATET, I'm asking for the help of our amazing industry and further community with getting them back on their feet so we can all recommence enjoying this amazing venue as soon as possible.

ATET is a family business whereby for the past six years Jake and his family have tirelessly put their absolute heart and soul into making their dream become a reality. His family have literally put everything into this; he isn't some corporate giant with unlimited wealth, he's a normal person who tenaciously worked to bring his dream to life. To think that people cruelly tried to take that away and leave a family with nothing is frankly abhorrent.

Jake always has a genuine and inspiring belief that everything will eventually be alright, and although it will be and ATET will undoubtedly come back stronger than ever, to help them reach that place they need our support and unity during this incredibly difficult time. Despite being open for just a few months, in this short time the creation of ATET has created a community like no other and a place that feels like home to so many of us and it's up to us to show everyone that no matter what, love always trumps hate.
