This fundraiser is to benefit a brave single mom, Jen Colon, and her kids as she fights back against this cancer diagnosis.

When Jen was 30, she was diagnosed with Stage 1 colon cancer. It was quickly resected. Over the next 5 years, she kept up with scheduled appointments and was cancer-free. About a month ago, just shy of 5 years later, she wasn't feeling well and went to the doctor regarding pain in her chest. After several scans, it was reported that she had masses on her lungs and spine. A biopsy revealed that she has stage 4 metastatic colon cancer.

Together with her oncologist, they created a plan where she will receive 5 rounds of chemo followed by medication. Each cycle of treatment looks like blood work, several hours of infusion, followed by 2 weeks of oral medication, and then a one-week break before it starts again.

Jen received more news that has a spot on her frontal lobe that is 5mm. She is being referred to another oncologist who specializes in the brain. She will get radiation on the spot since her chemo drugs don’t respond to the spot on her brain.
