Help my sister

Donation protected
On July 12th, 2020, my sister Laura Minjarez Ramirez was taken to Medical Center Hospital, she apparently started having strokes on Saturday, July 11th...the 12 year anniversary of my nephew Jeremy's passing away.  She has been at MCH since and will remain there until the 29th of July.  She lost her health insurance when my brother-in-law, Ozcar Ramirez was laid off.  Because of COVID-19 and the extra relief funds for those on unemployment, she was over the income bracket for the county indigent program.  MCH, thankfully, is keeping her until the 29th for speech, physical & occupational therapy thru a charity program.  The strokes affected her right side and therapy is vital to her recovery.  She will be able to reapply for county indigent August 14th.  Hopefully then, she can continue with therapy thru that resource...so, what does that mean?  She needs therapy from the 29th of July until mid-August (or until she gets qualified for county indigent).  With no insurance, she needs help from her family and friends.  I don't care if it's $1 you donate, it all adds up, no matter how big or small, it matters to my sister.  She has a ramp ready for her so she can get into the house but we are going to have to do some work to make things accessible to her.  We need to redo our bathroom and open up some door ways so her wheel chair can fit.  There will be other items my sister will need that to make things easier for her.  The prayers you have been praying have been heard, we are VERY lucky to still have her with us and we thank you.  As her sister, it's my job to make sure she doesn't worry about anything that is out of her control, this...I hope, WE, as her family and friends can control for her.  We are trying to work out some sort of fundraiser so we will also post on FB when we have that arranged.  Thank you in advance for your help.  I told my sister that she would be overwhelmed with the number of people who have reached out to us, those that have brought us food, came to clean the house & those that have already donated to my sister's recovery.  While we experienced a tragedy on 7-11-08, this year 7-11 began a scary and emotional ride for us.  Our lives will be very different now, but I'll take it!!!  My sister is the strongest person I know, she's my best friend & my rock.  Please continue to pray for her.
