Atae Kiesel-Mokiao Funeral Services

It is with immense sadness and heartbreak to share the news of the passing of our beloved Dad, Atae Kealii Kane O Ke Kai Kiesel on November 5, 2021. He was 43 years old.

A Loving husband to our mom, Charnavene "Mamo" Mokiao, and an amazing Father to 7 of us kids: Charnalynn, Ronaven(19), Atae "AJ" (18), Aleki (15), Alaynia (13), Akoni (10), and hanai son: Robert. Grandchildren: Mordechai, Makanalei, Marvela, Moroni, and Minoaka.

Our Dad will be remembered for his kind heart and gentle ways. Never getting upset and always a jokester with us children. He was fun loving & easy going.

Dad, was very soft spoken and said very few words, but when he did, it was "Life Lessons that we'll carry with us Forever." He did everything and anything for his family. A selfless human being who gave with no expectations.

Atae (Dad), was a proud "SON" and graduate of Iolani from K-12. He was lovingly known as "Skanky Dogg" by his fraternity brothers of PHI DELTA SIGMA, from UH, Manoa. He was an enthusiastic Tour Guide at Paradise Cove Luau. A skilled electrician at Pearl Harbor Naval Base for 21 years and took pride in being the Zone Manager.

We are all devastated with the loss of our father and want to give dad a celebration of life he deserves, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes.

We, the children, want to help our mom cover the cost of our Dad's funeral. If you'd like to donate, we are grateful for any kokua as it will truly help our ohana.
