Dear Friends and Family,

I hope this message finds you in good health and high spirits. We are reaching out to you today with heavy hearts but also with a sense of hope and gratitude for the incredible network of people we are fortunate to have in our lives.

As some of you may already know, Ata has recently been diagnosed with cancer. The journey ahead is challenging, both emotionally and financially.

Ata was diagnosed with Stage 3 esophageal cancer on October 30, 2023 after an endoscopy. We were shocked, but relieved to find out what was causing the uncomfortable digestive symptoms. We are also grateful for the quality of the medical care.

We anticipate a challenging period of treatment and recovery. There will be an intense period of chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery.

Every contribution, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to easing the financial strain and concentrating on treatment and healing.

We are raising funds to cover Ata’s missed work and medical costs.
