Hi, my name is Alvany, and I never thought I’d be writing something like this. My dad has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Retroperitoneal Sarcoma, a rare and very aggressive type of cancer that has already spread to his liver. It’s been one of the hardest things our family has ever faced.

He’s currently about to start chemotherapy and there’s a possibility of surgery ahead. We are doing everything we can to fight this but sadly, his insurance only covers a small portion of what’s needed. Most of the treatment, tests, and possible surgery will have to be paid out of pocket.

If you know my dad, you know he’s one of the strongest and most hardworking people out there. He’s always been the kind of man who puts everyone else first. Watching him go through this has been heartbreaking, but we’re holding on to hope and we’re not giving up.

We’re asking for any help you can offer whether it’s a donation, a prayer or even just sharing this with others. Everything will go toward his treatments, medications, hospital visits, and whatever else he needs to keep going.

Hola, mi nombre es Alvany y nunca pensé que tendría que escribir algo así. A mi papá le han diagnosticado sarcoma retroperitoneal en etapa 4, un tipo de cáncer muy raro y agresivo que ya se ha extendido al hígado. Ha sido una de las pruebas más difíciles que hemos enfrentado como familia.

Actualmente está a punto de comenzar la quimioterapia, y existe la posibilidad de que necesite cirugía. Estamos haciendo todo lo posible para luchar contra esta enfermedad, pero lamentablemente, su seguro médico solo cubre una pequeña parte de lo necesario. La mayoría de los tratamientos, estudios y una posible cirugía tendrán que ser pagados por nuestra cuenta.

Si conoces a mi papá, sabes que es una de las personas más fuertes y trabajadoras que existen. Siempre ha sido alguien que pone a los demás primero. Verlo pasar por esto ha sido muy doloroso, pero seguimos con fe y no pensamos rendirnos.

Estamos pidiendo cualquier ayuda que puedan ofrecer — ya sea una donación, una oración, o simplemente compartir esta campaña con otros. Todo lo recaudado se destinará a sus tratamientos, medicamentos, visitas médicas y cualquier otra necesidad que surja en este proceso.
