On December 6th, just two days after Liam's 1st birthday, he was experiencing a lot of discomfort and we couldn't figure out why. That night we went to the ER and discovered that he had a mass the size of an avocado pressing against his intestines and urinary tract. Shortly after we discovered that the tumor was a Neuroblastoma (stage III, Intermediate risk) and that Liam would need chemotherapy to fight the cancer. He's already undergone 3 rounds of chemo and has potential to need several more. There is now talk of surgery to remove the tumor. 

The funds will be used to offset medical costs associated with Liam's treatment.
