Christopher is one of the most loving, generous, and kind-hearted people you could ever meet. A devoted partner, brother, father, and grandfather, he brings warmth and compassion to everyone around him. He's also a proud and dedicated employee at Safeway in Manoa Valley, Hawaii.

On June 30th, Christopher was hospitalized after a life-threatening rupture in his small bowel that led to a severe abdominal infection. Despite seeking medical care, he was misdiagnosed twice, allowing the infection to worsen drastically. He has since undergone six major surgeries in just one week and is currently in a medically induced coma as his body fights to heal.

Christopher has a long and challenging road to recovery ahead. As you can imagine, the medical costs are overwhelming. Once he is stable and discharged, he will need extensive support at home, including:

- A medical bed to safely assist his mobility.

- A functional couch for at-home physical therapy sessions.

- Reliable transportation for follow-up appointments (his current vehicle needs repairs).

- Home health care, including wound VAC nurses and support staff.
