AT 36, JAMIE LEE GORMAN SUFFERED A HEART ATTACK

Although Jamie is only 36, she was rushed by ambulance to the hospital where she suffered a heart attack and had to be revived. Blood clots had blocked her arteries in three places. Surgery was able to clear two of the blood clots with implanting two stents. The third blockage was too severe to remove at this time. 

After 7 days in CICU, ultimately an exploratory procedure to dissolve the remaining clot was performed with no additional damage to her arteries. 

THE CAUSE OF THE BLOOD CLOTS HAS YET TO BE DETERMINED AND STILL UNDER ANALYSIS. All tests have come back clear, saying her heart is healthy, yet no answers to what produced the blood clots. THEREFORE LONG TERM PROGNOSIS IS STILL UNCERTAIN.
