Local artist Christine Balfa is launching a podcast that highlights Acadiana’s musicians, artists, and cultural advocates who are living purposeful and creative lives. The first series, Coming Back Home, will feature five in-depth interviews with individuals who moved away from the region but ultimately returned to contribute to their communities through their artistic and cultural work.

Additionally, we plan to expand the podcast’s reach by hosting live recordings at local venues, allowing audiences to participate in real-time, interact with guests, and experience the conversations firsthand. This will strengthen community involvement and provide an immersive way for listeners to connect with Acadiana’s cultural landscape.

This first series lays the groundwork for a weekly podcast that will grow to highlight broader stories across South Louisiana and the Gulf South.
