Astrida (Astro's) Army

Our beautiful Astro, A daughter, partner (Kane), mother, auntie, sister, friend and gym buddy, the life of the party and so much MORE is about to start the battle of her life. In the past week Astro hasbeen diagnosed with Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer. Astro will start invasive Chemo this week in Adelaide which will be followed by surgery and more Chemo. We are all heartbroken to learn how our healthy, effervescent friend can have this huge hurdle to overcome. We know right now our biggest help is to do what we can to relieve the financial pressure for Astro and Kane, this will help take a massive burden off them and let them focus on what they need too. They will have many trips to Adelaide as she fights her battle which will require time away from their home and close supports. We know just how amazing our community is at getting around those in need and have had so many of you already wanting to know how you can help. And this was the best option we could find. The money raised through this GoFund Me account will go directly to Astrida and Kane for them to use however they see fit, as we all know the bills will continue, accommodation costs will mount and the other hidden costs from hospitals well.
