Astrea 15 Mile Jubilee Walk
On Thursday 5th May 2022, the Astrea team took part in the 15‑mile Jubilee Walk covering London in aid of Macmillan Cancer
Support. Starting from Trafalgar Square and looping back round, with sites including the Millennium Bridge, St Paul's Cathedral
and Houses of Parliament.
Thanks to everyone's support, we have raised over £10,000! With this money we are providing all those people with vital Macmillan Support.

£31 could fund a Macmillan nurse for an hour, to offer vital practical and emotional support to someone living with cancer, in a hospital or out in the community. These nurses have a huge impact on someone’s experience and often a lifeline and important friend to their patients.
£17 could pay for 200 copies of our credit-card sized resource explaining graphically the signs and symptoms of some common cancers. This has become one of our most popular resources and is particularly popular with men, who are often reluctant to pick up other materials.
£217 could help run a small Macmillan information and support centre for a week, helping people affected by cancer to find information and support.
£383 could support our Cancer Information and Support team to run our Macmillan Support Line phone service for an hour. In this time, they could deal with 22 calls and web enquiries from people who want questions answered, need practical or financial support, or just want to chat.
Do you want to join us in making a difference? We are raising money in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support and every donation helps! Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us.
