Please join us, in raising money to benefit the Astoria Scandinavian Heritage Association. We are a 501c(3) organization. Like many community organizations, Covid has robbed us of our traditional means of support. Zero admissions, booth and site based income means we’re on life support and eating away at our vital general fund, contingencies and reserves. Gratefully, we have no paid staff, limited overhead and boosters that have stuck by us. But the crisis is hard upon us, and we must act. Any donation will help make an impact. Your Astoria Scandinavian Heritage Association Mission: To Preserve Traditional Scandinavian Culture And Heritage Through Educational Opportunities In Areas Of Customs, Language, Food And The Arts. To Educate The Community About The Culture And Heritage Of The Scandinavian Countries. $15,000, now, helps us rebuild the funds necessary to put on our basic programming: Sankta Lucia Festival of Light, the Scandinavian MidSummer Festival and Education Scholarships.
