Astico Park Memorial Fishing Pier

We are heartbroken that our son David's Memorial Pier out at Astico Park, was destroyed by the recent flooding.  The park's insurance will cover, but there is a $5000 deductible.  We loved how fitting the fishing pier was as a tribute to our beautiful son, David Valenza and are working with Dodge County Parks to replace it and to provide some funds for ongoing maintenance. The support and concern from many who have used it has been touching and greatly appreciated and many have asked how they can help. 

Anything that you can give to this project that benefits many in the Columbus and surrounding community would be amazing and welcomed.  The pier has been a favorite place for fishing, wedding pictures, enjoying the outdoors, and as a research area for Columbus Schools.  All money raised goes directly to  Friends of Dodge County Parks Inc. in David's name.  Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to our family.
