We have initiated this fundraiser to help the Carringtons with the upcoming expenses related to Adam's treatment at the University of Michigan. As they are making all of the preparations in their lives for the treatment there are so many unknowns. One thing that we do know is that they have a large community of family and friends that might be able to join together to alleviate some of the miscellaneous financial expenses that will quickly begin to pile at their door.

 

7 weeks of treatments in Ann Arbor, up to 6 times a week, will total almost 5800 miles traveled between Hillsdale and the hospital just to get Adam to the treatments. That's 50 tanks of gas. There will certainly be some times that they might just need / prefer to stay in Ann Arbor overnight.  Added to this, there will be new childcare expenses, and many meals on the road.
