Today our beloved Luis will be remembered for all the wonderful memories and great impact he has made on many. Most importantly, he adored our nieces and nephew and sister immensely, and will live on as a wonderful father, husband, son, brother, uncle, and brother-in-law.

It is with a very heavy heart that the family announces that Luis took his last breath on Saturday after fighting so hard for an entire month. He made sure that he fought the best he could and the entire family was able to witness that. At this time, we are updating the GoFundMe goal to assist our sister Alma the best we can during this very difficult time. She's navigating the best she can along with their young children. Please continue to share your thoughts and support ❤ We thank you all so very much.

Many of you may be familiar with or consider yourself a friend of Jose Gurrola (Luis or Rooster) and may be saddened with the news that Luis suffered an accident and has been in ICU at UMC of El Paso.
His parents and siblings have also been by Luis's side since this all happened. Luis is obviously a huge part of both of our families as well as all the wonderful people he has met throughout the years.
Please, if you'd like to donate any amount, know that your contributions will be alleviating a great amount and will at least provide a sense of security in one way.
