Henry Arguello is a very kind and generous man who sincerely demonstrates love and gratitude to all he meets. Due to economic difficulties in his native Costa Rica, Henry and his wife Roxanna moved to Canada in order to find work to survive. Trained as a cook - a career he looks forward to pursuing again in the future - he is now employed doing janitorial and maintenance work at Crescent Valley Elementary School. Unfortunately, with the status of his work visa they have not been able to obtain Alberta Healthcare coverage yet. On Thursday, March 7th, Henry broke his ankle in such a way that it will require surgery. The cost of this surgery is well beyond what they can afford. We are looking to cover the cost of the surgery (which we have learned could be in the $8,000 - $10,000 range) with any extra funds going to help with their living expenses while he is off work.
