The fires burning across Oregon have impacted so many, included a number of our Hain employees. While we are grateful everyone at our Ashland facility is safe, a few have faced catastrophic losses. In true Hain fashion, your contributions to the clothing drive have provided 10 boxes, but there is so much more needed.

Lucero Garcia Hernandez has been an employee with Hain Celestial for seven years. Lucero is currently one of our production trainers. Lucero takes great pride in her work and is consistently seeking opportunities to learn more and help others. She is a single Mom to her twelve-year-old son, Pedro. Lucero and her son lost all of their material belongings in the fires: their home, clothes, food, and memorabilia. They are currently staying at a local hotel until they can find a new home.
JJ Darcy has been with Hain Celestial for eleven years and is Maranatha’s maintenance planner. JJ and his wife have two sons, ages 12 &4. During the wildfires, JJ and his family lost their home, clothes, food, children's items, and all other belongings. JJ is currently staying with family until they can get a place of their own.
Brian Lewis has been with Hain Celestial for twenty-one years and works in our warehouse. Brian is a go-getter and always has the company's best interests in mind. Brian, his wife, daughter, and 9-year old granddaughter lost their home and all of their belongings during the fires. Brian and his family are currently staying with relatives until they can get a new home.
Omar Garcia has been with Hain Celestial for six and a half years. Omar is our swing shift production trainer and consistently strives for excellence. Omar and his wife recently welcomed a baby girl into their family with the birth of their daughter, Saffron, on July 30, 2020. Omar and his family lost all of their personal belongings in the fires: their home, clothes, and all of the baby’s necessities. Omar, his wife, and infant daughter are currently staying at a local hotel until they can find a new home.
