Assisting Amanda Grant-Burke

Hello everyone,

I’ve created this Gofundme on behalf of the Grant-Burke family. Their matriarch has been diagnosed with breast cancer and is hoping to find some relief during these trying times.

For anyone who doesn’t know Amanda; she is one of the most caring, kind hearted, loving souls you will ever have the pleasure of encountering. She has committed countless hours to the cleanliness of Amherst Regional High School as well as the wellbeing and safety of the clients of the Westford Nursing Home. A woman who would give the shirt off her back to her own worst enemy & then apologize for not having a coat to go over-top.

In November of 2022, Amanda Grant-Burke was excited to begin her new chapter with her daughters after selling their previous home of twenty years in Chapman Settlement NS. Their celebration was short lived however; just three days before Christmas of 22’ Amanda was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma.

Since her diagnoses it has been a nonstop whirlwind of appointments, trips to Moncton for chemotherapy & back and forth check-ups in between. Amanda has been unable to return to her job(s) due to her Illness and unfortunately having fallen ill within the first 90 days of paying into critical Illness TD bank has denied her claim to have the mortgage payable while she works through her treatments.

The weight of carrying the bills while managing to support and maintain a healthy lifestyle for her children has become increasingly difficult. On behalf of Amanda and her family I’d like to thank you all for your continuous generosity during her battle with cancer.
