Assistance with the Sekeon Family’s Medical Bills

My name is Lydia and I am creating this fundraiser for my childhood best friend Keturah Paige Sekeon, her husband Steven Sekeon, and their newborn daughter Evangeline Hope. On September 8th of this year, Keturah had an emergency c-section for her and her husband’s first baby, sweet Evangeline Hope. Evangeline was born 5 weeks early due to preeclampsia. She was 3.5 pounds and admitted into the NICU immediately. Keturah had tested positive for Covid upon admittance for her delivery and initially was asymptomatic but shortly after giving birth, she developed severe breathing difficulties/heart issues and was ultimately admitted into the ICU with Covid pneumonia. She was sedated on a ventilator for over 4 weeks and needed a tracheotomy, as well as time at an inpatient rehab facility once she recovered. They are thanking the Lord for her miraculous recovery and believing Him to supply their needs.
Due to the amount and length of interventions that were needed in order to save Keturah’s life and care for her preemie, the hospital bills have begun accruing for both mama and baby (they do not receive insurance benefits through her husband’s job and have to use private insurance, which is costly). This fundraiser will help to alleviate some of the financial burden so that the primary focus can be on Keturah’s recovery and caring for her newborn.
