Assistance with medical bills for Joulles

Hello, my name is Paige and I'm helping to raise money for medical expenses for my friend, costumer Joulles Wright.

On July 3, 2018, our union sister and friend Joulles Wright was riding in a freight elevator at her apartment building, heading to the top floor of her five-story building. The car failed, dropping out from under her, picking her up off the floor and stopping fast and HARD!

That day changed her life. After six weeks of crutches for her fractured knee, Joulles still couldn’t walk. Her leg was stuck. No bending, no straightening. She sought treatment at the renowned Steadman Clinic in Vail. She went all in; imagine that. What started as a second opinion turned into nine months of living nearby to begin the intense work of learning to walk again.

Since then, Joulles has been dealing with CRPS, complex regional pain syndrome, a chronic pain disease affecting the nervous system and has received a total of 21 spinal injections to date. She will continue to require these in addition to a slew of different treatment modalities to manage her condition.

Joulles continues to require treatments from the Steadman Clinic and, due to the amount of travel, had to place her belongings in storage in December of 2018.

Adding to her medical struggles, a retropharyngeal mass was discovered during a neck MRI in April of 2022. She additionally had a brain MRI and was diagnosed with post-concussive syndrome.

On July 6, the mass in her throat was successfully removed, and she is currently recovering from that surgery with loved ones in California. She can speak but knows speech and swallow therapy, who knew that was a thing, are next for her to tackle.

Now it’s our turn. Joulles needs some time off to rest and recover. She has tried to work through this pain and trauma but has reached a point of exhaustion. If you’ve seen her on set, you always see her with a smile and a positive word. She is always trying to lift people around her. Any help that you can give would be greatly appreciated. She has a long road of recovery ahead of her, but taking some financial burdens off of her plate might help her get to that place.
