Assistance With Emergency Vet Bills For Lucifur
On July 2nd, we brought Lucifur to the vet suspecting constipation. He was upset/in pain and not really going to the bathroom. They did an enema, we brought him home, and he started getting worse. He’d scowl when you got close to his belly. We decided to bring him to the emergency vet on the evening of July 5th at 10pm and were there until 3am and left him overnight. He was sedated and got X-rays and fluids. The X-rays showed a distended abdomen and the vet thinks he has been eating something foreign that is lodged in his intestines. Good news is the vet said he didn’t need surgery because his intestines are looking better today, but we are unsure of what the problem is and still need to bring him to his regular vet for an ultrasound to find out what is going on. We have already surmounted an extreme medical bill and there will be more to come. If you have some extra cash to spare at all, anything and everything helps. It's been a very tough year financially. Thanks in advance! xoxo
