Betty Lou Jacobson passed away peacefully at the ripe young age of 65 on Monday, January 17th, 2022.
She was a devout Catholic and very involved in helping people gain and maintain their sobriety through Alcoholics Anonymous and Al-Anon. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and Kitty Wompas, camping, traveling, playing Scrabble (she was known as the ‘Scrabble Queen’), playing Fortnite with Landon, having a ‘Cup of Joe’, and hitting the Keno machines.
Big Bang Theory, Golden Girls, and anything with Christopher Walken, John Travolta, and Nicolas Cage were among her favorite things to watch. Sebastian Maniscalco was her favorite stand-up comedian. Betty had a classic taste in music, including artists such as: Bing Crosby, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, and The Beatles. Listening to Jazz and going out to see live music were among her favorite pastimes.
Betty is survived by Children: Michelle, Joe (Jenny), Sam (Gabe).
Grandchildren: Chaise, Landon, Ava, Luke.
Close family: Veronica, Lynn, Nancy (Dale, James, Steve), Bob (Mary), Jackie (Angel, Sierra, Chad), Janet, Kimi (Tom, Alyssa).
Close friends: Cathy (Jim, Christopher, Shawna), Judy, Julie, Chris.
Pallbearers include: Bob, Dale, Gabe, Chaise, Landon, Steph, Mike, Joe.
