Hey Family,
My name is Shante Henderson. I am a young black woman and graduate with a bachelor's degree in Economics, where I minored in theater and non-profit organizations. My goal with this campaign is to raise enough funds to relocate in search of secure, permanent, safe housing, and a new career.
Currently, I am working as a sales associate, but COVID has reduced my working hours and increased my day to day living expenses, which make it challenging to get ahead in savings. As a result, it has caused me great concern in my ability to make this transition on my own. I continue to apply for positions in these areas: Clerical Work, Community Engagement, Retail Management, and Nonprofit Work in counties all over the greater Georgia region. I have applied for positions such as Program Success Manager, Virtual Assistant, Communtiy Outreach Specialist, Retail Manager, and Afterschool Program Facilitator.
I am passionate about providing for communities and fulfilling the needs of customers. I have a strong background in community outreach, providing youth services, and customer service. I am interested in starting a new career in either Youth Development, Community Outreach, or the Non-profit Sector. This relocation and career change is deeply rooted in the need to walk in alignment with my spiritual and physical health.
I am currently asking for the support of my community to make this transition possible. With your help, I can get a fresh start.
