Assistance to Amanda after storm damage

This past Friday, several Big Bend counties were severely damaged by strong wind gusts and tornadoes, leaving many with the burden of repair and cleanup that can take weeks. During the events, a member of our FDLE CJIS team, Amanda Prochaska, experienced significant damage to her home, leaving it uninhabitable. Many of her belongings were damaged by the rain and tree that fell on to her house. Unfortunately, Amanda does not have coverage to assist in recouping her losses, and she and her ten year old daughter are displaced as she determines her future living arrangements. We are hoping to provide a little relief to her and her daughter so she will be able to replace these belongings and have available funds should she need to move to another home.
