I am currently recovering from a liver transplant, and this has been one of the most challenging times of my life. While I am incredibly grateful to have received this second chance, the recovery process has been physically, emotionally, and financially overwhelming. Per my doctors, I am unable to work for the next 4–6 months as my body heals. I am doing my best to stay strong and focus on getting better, but the stress of everyday expenses and traveling back and forth to multiple medical appointments each week has become difficult to manage. Right now, my expenses far outweigh what I am able to bring in. I am humbly asking for a little assistance to help keep me on my feet during this recovery period until I am medically cleared to return to work.
