Assistance Needed After a Series of Unfortunate Events

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out today because life has thrown one challenge after another at me and my family and I’m in a place where I could use your help. Over the last couple of weeks, things have spiraled in ways I never could have imagined, and I’ve found myself struggling to keep up with everything.

I work as a temp at a BioLab in Conyers, GA, where a fire recently broke out. The fire caused a plume of chemicals to fill the air, forcing me and my coworkers to stay home for an entire week. Unfortunately, the company has refused to compensate us for the days we couldn’t work, leaving me in an extremely tough spot financially. To make things worse, my unemployment claim is still in limbo, and I haven’t been able to rely on any of the assistance I applied for.

Prior to the fire, I was already in a difficult position. My car’s brakes gave out, and I could only work two days that week because I had to get them repaired. And just when I thought things couldn’t get worse, a hurricane hit our area, causing my job to send everyone home early that week. The next day, the BioLab fire happened, putting everything into chaos.

I’ve been tirelessly applying for new jobs, but I haven’t heard back from anyone yet. With rent now due and bills piling up, I’m facing a moment of uncertainty and fear. I’ve reached out to local charities and assistance programs, but because of the hurricane, their response times have been delayed.

It’s incredibly hard to ask for help, but I’m at a point where I don’t know what else to do. I’m doing everything I can to get back on my feet, but right now, I just need a little bit of help to stay afloat. I’m hoping to raise enough to cover my rent, bills, and essential expenses as I navigate through these difficult times and continue searching for work.
