Assistance for Umu Conteh & Family

Donation protected

Hello everyone,

A recent video featured by CNN's New Day highlighted the story of a single mother in Columbus, OH. (Video Link Here ) Her name is Umu Conteh. She is a healthcare worker who immigrated to the United States from Freetown, Sierra Leone.

Unfortunately, while working in a local nursing home, she contracted COVID-19 and was unable to work for an extended period of time. This has forced her to be in a financial position where eviction from her home is likely. She is back at work now, but as a home health aide earning $12/hr.

Uma is obviously willing to work for her family and in our society she deserves a break from an unfortunate situation.

100% of the funds donated (minus the fees taken by GoFundMe) will be supplied to Umu directly via the form of payment to avoid eviction or payment for future housing post-eviction so that her and her family may never be without a home.

Thanks for anything you can spare to donate to this small but worthy cause.

Regards,

Jon S.
