My name is Jonathon Reid and I have been responsible for the 'web-site' TRADITIONALCATHOLICPRAYERS.COM, slated for shut-down and closure on Feb. 14, Feast of St. Valentine, Martyr.
The reason is principally financial - I am a poor man - however it is a little more complicated than that: I am also a SEDEVACANTIST*, holding that Vatican Council II was a false council, its 'reforms' diabolical & illegitimate and that the last pope was Pius XII. I came to this realisation fairly recently, less than 18 months ago, and, frankly and in hindsight, am at a loss to understand why it took me so long so to do. Seemingly, scarcely a week passes that does not shout (from the roof-tops) that this is the undeniable truth of the matter as the gallery of rogues who occupy the Vatican defile, without mercy, what remains of authentic Catholicism. Scandals must come, but woe to them who bring them. Judge them by their fruits, indeed.
Anyway, the very fine gentleman who has hosted this site for the past 3+ years is not a Sedevacantist and will not countenance any such content on the web-site that he pays for; likewise, Yours truly, can not countenance the site being hosted by one who is staunchly of the polar opposite view and hostile to it.
AND SO - AND IMPORTANTLY - IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO ASSIST you must be aware of my position and, obviously, comfortable with that at your own personal level.
I require c. $1,000 USD for the following:
° 12 months web-site hosting (with sufficient band-width to allow for the current usage);
° A re-furbished computer (my computer broke 8 months ago and I have been unable to make any serious content addition since; it is difficult to properly do via 'smart' tele-phone);
° Sundry personal expenses (e.g. reading spectacles). I was not always poor. I used to be a successful individual who, stupidly, quipped frequently that 'I should rather be a poor man in this life than the next' and I think God heard, and has granted at least the first part of my folly.
By way of final word, be it known that Yours truly has a VERY interesting, albeit half-written, essay on the greatest secret of the 20th century and its completion will only be possible if the nominated funds are raised.

* There is nothing to fear from Sedevacantism: one cannot be a schismatic by adhering to the Catholic Faith, which is immutable, infallible and unalterable.
For those who may be 'sede curious' I would highly recommend the blog listed below which is maintained by the 'lay' protege of Fr. Gomar DePauw, canonist and professor of theology, who was the very first to reject the 'reforms' of the Robber Council, paving the way for ABp. Lefebvre. This gentleman, a NY attorney, has an encyclopedic knowledge of canon law, the writings of theologians & papal documents and is most helpful. A new post is made every Monday and off-topic & personal assistance is given via the comment section (and can be posted anonymously. I personally found - and continue to find - it an invaluable resource.
