Assistance for the Thornburgs

On August 4, 2022, Adam suffered a stroke damaging tissue in the left and frontal areas of his brain.

Adam is 36 years old. He is a father to Knox who just celebrated his first birthday and husband to Ashley. Adam is a member of our U.S. Air Force.

Adam is doing well (as we expected he would) and is learning to navigate and compensate for the effects from the stroke. Numerous tests were completed to attempt and find a source of the stroke. It was determined that the stroke was caused from a mass in Adam’s heart that will require open heart surgery in the next few days. This will be a long road for the Thornburg family. Adam and Ashley (have been unable to) and will continue to be unable to work during this time to focus on Adam’s rehabilitation and healing.
