It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of James Wilson, on February 27, 2022, a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, brother in law, son in law and friend. An accidental fall at home in October of 2021 sent him to the hospital. Many unexpected complications during his time at the hospital followed, along with eventually battling a sepsis infection for five months. Nevertheless, we prayed and hoped he would make a full recovery and come home to his family, his wife Maria, and their five kids, Ramiro, Yvonne, Erik, James and Ivan. James was a wonderful, kind, and generous man. He helped many in their time of need and liked to use humor to make people smile and feel good about themselves. Throughout his five-month battle, his wife Maria was able to cover most monthly household expenses, but with James and Maria's loss of income during this time, the family of 7 took a huge financial setback. James had just started his new job and therefore was only offered a limited amount of benefits which were fully exhausted during this time. Maria stayed by his side as much as she could while also attending to the kid's needs and working as many hours as she could possibly fit in.

Our family cheered for him to fight every step of the way and always thought he would pull through; he was young and strong. We were completely unprepared for this loss, emotionally and financially. We are reaching out to our community of friends and family to help us cover some of the costs that Maria will have to cover for James' funeral and services. As Maria and the kids try to come to terms with their loss, any help, big or small, will go a long way, and we are truly grateful for everyone's support during this time.
