On Wednesday, November 9th, my children’s father, Omar Balderas, was involved in a catastrophic work accident. As a result, he will lose his leg. I am creating this fundraiser to help my kids offset the financial obstacles they will be facing as they help Omar transition through his healing. He is currently at Loyola, so Diego & Lily are each making the trek daily, in shifts. So help with transportation costs will be greatly appreciated. They are also anticipating modifications will be needed at home.

They don’t know how long it will be before any compensation will start, so I’m hoping this will help alleviate some of their stress during this heartbreaking time.
