Susan started Chemo and Radiation on Monday 8/18 and will be going frequently, seeing how treatment goes

Susan had her back surgery the week of the 28th, she is currently in rehab to help with her back. The plan is to release her to go home Thursday 8/14. After that she will be starting Chemo and radiation in the next week or so.

On Tuesday July 29th Susan had went to the hospital for excruciating pain and other concerns. After running tests, it was found that she has esophagus cancer which has spread into her thoracic spine, and liver as well as a fractured vertebrae. She has been struggling to eat a normal amount t due to the tumor in her esophagus. There has been a surgery to fix the vertebrae and more to come. There is talks of other surgeries and procedures. Susan has a long recovery road ahead with there being uncertainty of what the future holds. Her children Jason, Ryan, Victoria, and Sheridan are trying to figure out the best course of care for what’s to come, along with the weight of medical bills. Anything to help this family in this time of struggle as well as to plan for what’s to come.
